    • Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy
Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a highly sensitive characterization technique used to establish the electrical response of chemical systems in a nondestructive manner. Quantitative measurements are produced by the EIS and enable the evaluation of small scale chemical mechanisms at the electrode interface and within the electrolytic solution.
    • Glass (Amorphous Solids)
Qualitative introduction to glasses (silica, metallic, etc.) and their role as materials optically, electrically, and thermally.
    • Polymeric Thin Film Dielectrics
Polymeric thin film dielectric materials are widely used in capacitor construction and electronic packing as insulation material due to their attractive electronic properties, low cost, and ease of processing. Polymeric thin films also have low tangent loss values and high dielectric strength, making them suitable for high frequency and voltage applications.
