- Explain why loops are useful in MATLAB programming.
Use a while loop when the number of repetitions is not known ahead of time.
Use a for loop when the number of repetitions is known ahead of time.
Create and update arrays inside loops.
Use loops to process arrays, vectors, and matrices.
Write nested loops to work through rows and columns of a matrix.
Use break to exit a loop early and continue to skip the rest of one loop iteration.
Recognize common loop errors such as infinite loops and off-by-one mistakes.
